VinItalia - 11th October 2015
VinItalia Food & Wine Festival was a huge success last Sunday, seeing nearly 1,000 guests visit Royal Exhibition Building, offering authentic Italian wine and food lovers the chance to sample and purchase wine & food from a diverse range of importers throughout the day.
Promoted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia - Melbourne Inc, restaurants had the opportunity to submit their wine lists for judging against a number of categories. A diverse panel of judges gathered to review many lists, and the results / awards have been shared with you below.
You may have missed the event for this year however I am going to tempt you with the quality of masterclasses that were offered by some of the best Italian experts in the market. I have listed below the run down on what was on offer and a similar offering will be available again next year, so if you are tempted make note of the date and look out for ticket sales. Priced at $45.00 per masterclass, the level of wine on offer and educational gain (not to mention the passion thrown in for free), this makes for a great day out for wine lovers, or a great gift for someone who is a wine lover!
